1. Give emphasis to 1-2 long tail keywords

When writing a blog it is necessary that instead of putting tons of keywords in a single post focus on 1-2 keywords for every post. 5. Optimize your images
Blog post should contain images in addition to text for SEO purpose. But search engine don’t just look for images instead they look for images with alt text.

6. Don’t use too many topic tags
Topic tags helps to organize your blog content but if you overuse them they can be harmful. If you are using too many similar tags you can be fined by search engine for having duplicate content.

When you make a topic tag you also create a new page where the content from topic tags will appear. If you create too many similar tags for the same content then it appears to search engine as if you are showing the content multiple times all over the website.

If you find that your current blog post have similar tags then clean them up. Choose about 15-25 topic tags that are important for the website and that are not similar to each other. Then tag your post with those keywords, in this way you won’t have to worry about the duplicate content.

8. Link internally if possible
